Debarun
Program Manager - Community Radio
Debarun is a devout film buff and loves exploring new places. He is always thinking of the next big thing in media and feels privileged to work with the marginalized communities of India. Debarun started working with Drishti as a trainer, then came to Ahmedabad to serve as our Partnership & Outreach Coordinator and has recently taken over as the Director of Community Radio. He is excited for what the future holds.
Pooja
Program Coordinator- Community Radio
Pooja is a dedicated listener, but when in the mood can talk for days! She believes in simplicity and has a passion for music. Her light-hearted attitude and full-hearted laugh bring joy and enthusiasm to the office and her work. She is dedicated to empowering community voices and an expert in filling out official documents. Want to start a radio station? ask her first!
Kaberi
Research and Documentation Officer - Community Media
Kaberi has a glowing smile and is a fantastic communicator. She is always singing and dancing, and aspires to act in theatre someday soon. Kaberi dreams big and is working towards translating her dreams to reality, while inspiring others to do the same. She is always thinking of new ways to share our work with you!
Munira
Coordinator- Radio Nazariya
Nobody at Drishti ever misses the chance to eat from Munira’s lunch box. A gulab jamun enthusiast, Munira is known for bringing great sweets and cooking up delicious treats. She has been engaged with social work for more than five years and is eager to continue her work with local communities for many more years. Right now she is busy training, organization, and launching Radio Nazariya.
Nirav
Accounts Officer
Nirav believes in living in the moment and enjoys the adventure of life. He is surrounded by money and efficiently manages Drishti’s finances. Nirav has been with Drishti for a long long time and considers it his second home, always lending out a helping hand to all its new comers.
Jimmy
Technical Manager and In-house Editor
Jimmy joined the team as an on-site trainer, after running his own editing business. Then he moved into the Drishti office and now flips between training in the field and editing films at his desk. When he isn’t helping others, he is on the field playing cricket or rocking out to Gazals.
Nilesh
Web/Graphics Designer
If anyone needs help with web, graphics, excel and unable to format a documents, or needs help with the printer, Nilesh is here to help! Within a fraction of a second he solves everyone’s problem. He enjoys experimenting with web and graphic design and always eager to learn more. When it comes to music he is a die- heart Himesh Reshmaniya fan and is not open to any thing else.
Rajat
Technical Assistant
Rajat is always listening to music from India and around the world. To find him without his headphones on is a rare sight. One of the oldest and strongest Drishti members, Rajat provides technical assistance and takes care of all the studio equipment and films.
Bharat
Technical Assistant - Nazariya Office
Bharat is always giggling and experimenting with his hair color and style! He is the quintessential team player and always thinks of the group first. He helps create mechanisms that help keep Drishti running smoothly. Drishti’s lunchtime excites him the most because he gets to shares lunch with everyone on one huge thali (plate).

Mahesh
Office Support- Community Media Office
The Drishti family couldn’t get through the work week without Mahesh’s incredible power booster chai! Mahesh is a trickster and in his spare time loves to browse the net downloading new desktop backgrounds for unsuspecting PC users. Mahesh aspires to become a video editor someday soon. He is well on his way!
